Given the relaxed nature of media offices, I've historically never owned much in the way of formal clothing. My wardrobe primarily consists of light button-downs and jeans, with one or two casual blazers to rock over a plain tee mixed in. But ever since becoming a full-time freelance writer, I've found myself in cities like London and Paris, where folks tend to be a bit more buttoned up than in the States. After feeling out of place at a few fancy work functions, I decided it was time to shell out for a nice suit that can travel well.
